Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham are believed to have made last-ditch bids for Liverpool forward Ryan Babel.
Roy Hodgson is believed to be willing to let the Dutchman leave the club as he continues to rebuild his squad at Anfield.
Spurs’ boss Harry Redknapp is thought to have turned his interest to Babel after missing out on a number of other potential targets.
West Ham have also been linked with Babel, who may be involved in a potential swap deal with striker Carlton Cole, for whom Liverpool have made an official bid.
