Trapattoni sticks with same side

Giovanni Trapattoni has stuck with the same eleven that defeated Armenia on Friday for Tuesday night’s clash with Andorra at the Aviva Stadium.

Giovanni Trapattoni has stuck with the same eleven that defeated Armenia on Friday for Tuesday night’s clash with Andorra at the Aviva Stadium.

Robbie Keane has suffered no reaction to the knee injury that had been troubling him prior to the Armenia game and will partner Kevin Doyle in attack.

Darren O’Dea, meanwhile has returned to his club, Ipswich, for treatment on a knee injury and will not be considered for the Andorra game, along with fellow injury victims Damien Duff, Keith Andrews and Keith Treacy.

Paul McShane is back training, however, after missing out on the Armenia clash with a hamstring injury.

Ireland v Andorra kicks off at 7.45pm on Tuesday evening in the Aviva Stadium. JOE will be tracking the game live in our football section.

Ireland team to play Andorra: Shay Given, John O’Shea, Sean Saint Ledger, Richard Dunne, Kevin Kilbane, Liam Lawrence, Glenn Whelan, Paul Green, Aiden McGeady, Robbie Keane, Kevin Doyle.
