In the first Weekly Maul podcast of 2011, the lads talk about their contrasting Christmases, preview the weekend’s Heineken Cup action and ponder who might play them in a movie about their life.
In Part One, Malcolm, Johnny and Rob have a chat about what they got up to over the Christmas period; Johnny did very little apart from playing rugby, while Malcolm got well acquainted with the television, on the couch at home and as a pundit in front of the camera.
After the lads get the Christmas pleasantries out of the way, the Heineken Cup is the main focus as the lads discuss the fixtures involving the Irish provinces this weekend. Leinster look the best equipped of all three to progress, Munster have it all to do against Toulon, while Ulster face up to a Biarritz side that plundered ten tries against Agen at the weekend.
