In this week’s maul, Malcolm, Rob and Conor discuss Ireland’s nervy win over Italy, look ahead to the weekend’s clash with France and wonder why tripping evokes such an angry response on the rugby field.
In Part One, the lads reflect on what was almost a disastrous opening to the Six Nations as Ireland struggled to a two-point victory over Italy in Rome.
The lads try and glean some positives from what was a poor encounter, but soon decide that it’s easier to pick out the negatives such as the high error count, the lineout and a questionable performance from Roman Poite, whose conduct is brought under scrutiny by the panel.
