Ryanair has launched a string of summer routes from Cork International, kicking off from 01 June 2011. Here’s where you can escape too:

  • Alicante (Spain)
  • Barcelona (Reus) (Spain)
  • Bordeaux (France)
  • Carcassonne (France)
  • La Rochelle (France)
  • Milan (Bergamo) (Italy)

Ryanair also announced two brand new routes from Cork for summer 2011 back in December, namely, Gran Canaria and Tenerife in the Canary Islands. These two were made available from February 2011.

Aer Lingus chipped in by opening up a new route of its own from Cork – to cheap and cheerful Palma Majorca in Spain. The destination was made available from 28 March and is charged at €49.99 for a one-way before taxes and charges.
