Widely tipped to be this year’s game of the show at E3, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception did not disappoint with a stunning onstage demo and trailer.
Now considered the crown jewel of Sony’s Playstation brand, the continuing adventures of wise-cracking Nathan Drake have our hero traversing the desert and evading what appears to be a Helen Mirren look-alike baddie.
Although we understand it if many of you weren’t able to stay up for the 1am Sony E3 2011 press conference this morning (which was delayed by 20 minutes, though not actually due to a hack attack this time), the footage was astounding and should go some way to making a few Xbox 360 and Wii owners feel slight pangs of envy.
After the onstage demonstration and trailer, Sony Computer Entertainment of America CEO Jack Tretton confidently predicted that the company will “sell quite a few of those bad boys”. We won’t argue and neither will you if you take a look at the clips below:
