Rivalries between fathers and sons are generally quite heated, but the rivalry between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Sr. is absolutely scorching.
Having kicked his old man out as his coach back in 2000 (in exchange for his uncle), you could see why Floyd Mayweather Jr. might have a reason to get testy with his dad. But sadly, the old man just can’t see what all the fuss is about.
In the video aired by HBO, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is being interviewed in his gym ahead of his bout against Victor Ortiz on September 17. Sr. just happens to drop by for a chat during filming and thankfully the cameras caught the rest.
As the two aren’t talking, due to the reasons above, it was only a matter of time before words of manly testosterone were exchanged, and with force. The ‘entourage’ must have sensed the impending duel of words quicker than an animal in an earthquake as they surround the two Mayweathers instantaneously, acting as blockades.
