Here we have in our possession the viral ad for the newest MMA sport to spawn out of the UFC. It’s called XARM.
XARM is a mix between arm wrestling and UFC, where fighters have their arms duct taped together in an arm wrestling stance. They are also attached by the waist to a table that separates the two fighters. However, that’s where the connections with arm wrestling stops. Apart from the stance its basically just close quarters UFC.
The viral is pretty funny and Art Davie, UFC creator, makes for a good gangster, but apart from that we’re not too sure what to make of it. It seems pretty vicious, and ultimately, pointless. Why tape their hands together? Just put them in a ring the size of a washing machine box and let them at it.
