As Frank Sinatra sort of crooned, the Rugby World Cup is over, it’s over, it’s oooooooohhhhhh-ver. But we still have final competition winners to announce – and here they are.
The third and final Ireland rugby jersey giveaway of the tournament goes to Declan Carroll. Well done to him.
Turning our attention to the final Powerade hydration kit for clubs, and it seems that JOE was full of people confidently expecting a straightforward All Blacks win against France last weekend.
Because only one of you voted for a French player to be Man of the Match in the final. That vote went to Vincent Clerc, but the Man of the Match on the day was captain Thierry Dusautoir.
All of which means that all the entrants went back into the hat, from which we fished out the name of… Ciaran O’Hehir, of Waterpark RFC in Waterford.
If you won a prize with our competitions during the Rugby World Cup and haven’t yet received those goodies, don’t fret, they’ll all be sent out en masse in the coming days.
And if you happened to be one of the unlucky masses whose names went singularly unplucked, never mind – keep an eye on our Competitions section over here for plenty more giveaways in the coming days and weeks.
Hope you enjoyed the Rugby World Cup folks, thanks for spending some of it with us.
All the best,
The JOE Team
