Lady Gaga once again proved that she lacks one sense she could certainly do with. Her fashion sense that is.
Here at JOE we very rarely care about women’s fashion, unless it has something to do with a hot model and a lack of clothing, in a tasteful way of course. However, Lady Gaga’s most recent stunt at the EMA’s can’t go without mention.
Whether she’s wearing a meat dress, crawling out of a human sized egg or just being ‘herself’, Lady Gaga generally knows how to get attention and this year’s EMA’s was no different. Her theme of the night must have been ‘flying saucer’ as nearly all her dresses featured an overly-oversized oval – of some sort.
The most outrageous piece had to be a silver hat, which she wore while accepting her EMA prize from David ‘The Hoff’ Hasselhoff. The piece was so big that Gaga had to elevate her left arm in order to make it fit, meaning she could only use her right hand while wearing the dress.

In fairness to the dresses, they were structurally impressive. All of the freakish garments were made by fashion house Paco Rabanne and all of them were made “entirely from paper”.
Gaga had a shot at explaining her dresses to Capital FM, “Every outfit was made entirely of paper. It was inspired by the idea of the paper moon because there was a moon on stage tonight.”
A tad dressed in the dark or will it be the new trend? Frankly, who cares? She just proved once more that if you make yourself look like a fool, you’ll more than likely get talked about.
