Just as Crocodile Dundee would say: that’s not a knockout, this is a knockout.
Mixed martial arts has shown us that full on cage fighting can be fairly interesting stuff, well, when KO’s are involved. Most of us are familiar with the UFC in one way or another but it’s the more localised fighting that often cracks out the KO gems.
Here we have what is ultimately one of the most convincing knockouts we’ve seen in awhile. During a Polish MMA fight early last week, one fighter received a Christmas present in the form of a fully connected Tornado kick to the face.
Now, here at JOE we’re lovers and not fighters, but if there’s one thing we know about MMA it’s always be on your guard. Sadly for the chap who was floored, his guard was completely down.
It’s a tad worrying, but you know he’s not getting up for awhile when the ref turns him over and his body just flops to the ground like a dead weight. If only the ref had reactions like this guy.
In fairness to the fighter that dished out the menacing kick, he realises the can of whoop ass he just caused and rushes to his opponent’s side after a quick celebration with his trainer.
That, or was just going over to make sure the poor guy stayed down.
