Cian Healy says the Irish players were as shocked as anyone to learn that Saturday night’s game against France was abruptly called off, but he’s keen to forget about it and move on.
Judging by the looks on the faces of some of the Irish players seen strolling around the pitch, the mood wasn’t exactly pleasant amongst the squad, but Healy feels the correct decision was made and like the thousands of Irish supporters left out of pocket after what has become known as the ‘Stade de Farce’, the players just have to get on with it.
With the game now rescheduled for the first weekend in March – not September, thank God – Ireland face a gruelling schedule of four Six Nations games on four consecutive weekends, but it’s not something that overly concerns the Leinster and Ireland prop and part-time DJ.
After all, he’ll have plenty of Berocca to take to keep the energy levels up.
Check out Healy’s thoughts on the weekend’s events in the video above.
