The Lions squad gathered for their official squad photo earlier this week. Well… most of them did. Can you spot the players whose faces had to be digitally imposed?
With only a couple of weeks until the Lions head off to lock horns with the Wallabies Down Under, Warren Gatland’s men started to get down to business this week with a training camp in Wales which followed an official get-together in London on Monday.
While they were there, the 38-man squad posed for an official photo along with the coaching and management team, only, as you’ll soon spot above, there are a couple of players in the picture who don’t quite look themselves in the shot.
That was because a couple of them, namely our own Brian O’Driscoll (centre of the back row) and Gethin Jenkins (two to O’Driscoll’s left) weren’t in attendance and had to be photo-shopped into the picture, although after seeing the photo, O’Driscoll might suggest otherwise because we certainly have never seen his chest look as big as it does in the image above.
As far as we know it is just O’Driscoll and Jenkins whose faces were digitally imposed on the picture, but with that in mind, we thought there are a few more who don’t quite look themselves, such as Owen Farrell in the back row and Conor Murray to Farrell’s left.
That might just be us being cynical, but have a look at an enlarged version of the picture here and see if it’s just us who spotted something a little bit amiss.
