There’s no better folk at creating a bit of old-fashioned aggro than the Aussies and they’re really trying to ramp up the anti-Lions sentiment with a bit of friendly baiting before the Tour next month.
Whether it’s cricket, rugby or, as we well know, International Rules, nobody does ‘sledging’ better than the Aussies and it seems as if they’re up to their old tricks ahead of the visit of the Lions for the much-anticipated tour next month.
While it’s likely to be a different story on the pitch, the baiting has been good-natured for the most part so far, such as the p*ss-take video featuring members of the Wallabies squad and this recent offering from Tim Horan of Fox Sports, which seemed to take a little bit of inspiration from Donnie Darko.

Not all of the baiting has been good-natured, however, at least not if these rather blunt t-shirt and hoodie designs from Melbourne company Red Bubble are anything to go by.
The ‘Lion-tamer’ t-shirt in the colours of the Wallaby jersey is fair enough, but the red number, which features the line ‘Fact: The Lions Are Just Big Pussies’, is about as loud and as quintessentially Australian as you’re going to get.

We’re sure plenty of Aussies will spend their hard-earned dollary-dos on the ‘Lions are Pussies’ garments in particular and that should help build the tension nicely ahead of the tests in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne next month.
