This is quite possibly the worst Nurburgring crash we’ve ever seen…
The Nurburgring is the ultimate playground for petrol heads everywhere, but every once in a while someone comes along and destroys a perfectly good car on the track. That’s exactly what happened at the weekend when one driver found himself having a date with the crash barrier.
It’s a pretty nasty crash, but thankfully the driver survived.
Here’s what the video’s uploader (who’s German, by the way) had to say on YouTube: “The driver was able to exit the vehicle itself. He was taken to hospital as a precaution. The accident happened because of a drive failure.
“This video serves as a warning to viewers who think they lean on the guardrail would be cool and tourist drivers who do not have necessary to significantly reduce their speed in a tilted yellow flag, and that they not only endanger themselves! [sic]”
It’s not the first time we’ve seen a big crash at the Nurburgring and we doubt it’ll be the last either…
