Cage Warriors’ roster continues to grow with former UFC lightweight champion Jen Pulver confirmed for the promotions’ Dublin card this summer.

Cage Warriors 47 on June 2 at The Helix was always likely to be a big draw, with our own Aisling Daly and Conor McGregor already confirmed to be in action. But now the lads at Cage Warriors have announced that Jens Pulver has been signed to the company for all fights outside of the US, starting with the June 2 event.

“Jens Pulver is a legend in the sport and we’re delighted to have him on board,” said Cage Warriors director Graham Boylan.

“He can bring a lot to Cage Warriors as an organisation, both in and out of the cage, and the fact that a guy of this stature wants to be associated with Cage Warriors gives people an indication of our standing at this moment in time.”

Pulver was UFC’s first ever lightweight champ and at 37, he is a legend of the MMA world, having fought in UFC, Pride and WEC.

“I am very excited to work with Graham and to be a part of the international dominance that is Cage Warriors,” said Pulver.

“I look forward to the fights and the appearances in the international venues. I plan to show the rest of the world why I was world champion and why I will be again.”

No opponent has been named yet for Pulver but when it is, we will let you know right here.
