Terrible news, lads. The stunning American actress Mary-Louise Parker has said she plans to give up acting for good and it’s all because of ‘mean’ and ‘bitchy’ people on the internet. So with that in mind, here’s a look at Mary-Louise looking as hot as hell.
“The world has gotten too mean for me, it’s just too bitchy. All the websites and all the blogging and all the people giving their opinion and their hatred … it’s all so mean-spirited, it’s all so critical,” the 48-year-old, mother of two, told News Corp Australia.
According to Mary-Louise, who’s probably best known for her lead roll in the TV show Weeds (hence the second picture), her decision to leave acting is down to the fact that she doesn’t want her two young kids being exposed to ‘such hatred’.
So what’s Mary-Louise going to do now? “I would write, still. I write for Esquire and writing makes me happy,” she says. “I would take care of my kids and my goats. That’s about it. Bake. Throw my internet in the lake.”
