The new Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises, hits cinema’s in just ten days time, but you can whet your appetite now by getting a first-hand look the Batpod and Tumbler in Dundrum Town Centre.

For one day only, Batman’s Batpod (the Batbike) and Tumbler (the new Batmobile) will be on display in the Dundrum Town Centre and it’s completely free to go and have a gander.

Fans of the series will be able to get up close and personal with the authentic vehicles from the production of the highly anticipated action drama. They’ve actually flown straight in from the UK after being displayed at the British Grand Prix in Silverstone. So Jenson and the lads will have already had a good look at them.

The Camouflage Tumbler will be on display in the Town Centre from 10.30am and will be joined from 1pm by The Batpod. However, you better get in early to get a good look at the machines as the display finishes up around 2.30pm.

It’s all in anticipation for the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy. The Dark Knight Rises promises a star studded cast with the likes of Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman and of course Christian Bale all making an appearance.

It’s going to be one heck of a movie, so make your way down to Dundrum to see two of the more mechanical stars of the show.
