The UFC hit a landmark last night as it reached UFC: 150 which was headlined by Benson Henderson retaining his lightweight title against Frankie Edgar by split decision.
The fight that caught the eye on the card was Donald “The Cowboy” Cerrone’s knockout of his friend Melvin Guillard.
The fight picked up both the “Fight of the Night” and “Knockout of the Night” awards as Cerrone was cheered on by his hometown of Denver.
Guillard got off to a great start rushing Cerrone and attacking him with some frenzied blows, before the round was over Cerrone rallied and won as you can see in the above video.
After the fight Cerrone said that he told Guillard “Sorry, brother,” before the flamboyant Cowboy hit him with a mean straight.
He should be sorry to Guillard but the fans can’t be more thankful for this great fight and knockout.
