On Saturday night in Amman, Jordan, Chris Fields (SBGi) will look to join Paul McVeigh, Aisling Daly and Conor McGregor as an MMA world champion from Ireland.

The kind folks at Cage Warriors sent us an interview they shot with Chris a few days before the fight.
CWFC Fight Night 7 is Cage Warriors’ ninth show of 2012 and takes place tomorrow night, Saturday, September 1, at the New Boxing Arena in King Hussein Youth City, Amman, Jordan. The weigh-in today saw all fighters except Olivier Pastor make weight.
We recently spoke to Chris about the lead up to his bid for world title glory. Check out a calm and collected ‘Killing’ Fields talking to Brad Wharton about how the fight is going to go down.
Also on the card is another SBGi fighter, proud ‘R-Irishman’ (all is explained in the video) Artem Lobov. Artem also spoke about his background and how he sees his fight playing out on Saturday.
