One of the things we’ll miss most when the GAA season finally draws to a close is the number of quite magnificent memes that have been doing the rounds on the interweb, particularly in the run-up to both the hurling and the football finals.

This trailer should get you in the mood
Not that any fans of either Mayo or Donegal or even neutrals with no vested interest will need any help getting up for the All-Ireland Final, but if you’re not already feeling the buzz, then a little trailer produced by the GAA ahead of the game should help get you in the mood for Sunday.
It could be the dramatic music, it could be the slow-motion action shots, it could be the images of the respective fans in exultant mood following their semi-final victories, or it could be the fact that I’m from Mayo and am already ridiculously excited about the game, but it should certainly cause a few hairs to raise on the neck of any GAA fan.
