After getting off the mark last week, we’re back with three more bets that might feather your nest this weekend.

Need a cash boost this weekend? Then maybe we can help with our three bets. There’s one sure thing (or the nearest we can find to one), a good value bet and a long shot. Combined, they add up to 40/1 but maybe pick and choose, depending on your budget.

Everton to beat Southampton, 4/9

Normally the Toffees are just the sort of team to let you down when you think it is safe to back them but we think this time, honestly, it’s different. David Moyes’s team have been the best team in the Premier League so far this season and at home they should be very hard to beat for anyone.

When that anyone is Southampton, it’s even more likely it will be a home win. Yes, Nigel Adkins side won 4-1 last week but we don’t see them doing that too often, especially on their travels.

Tommy Walsh to be nominated for Man of the Match on Sunday Game, 11/4

We have a sneaky feeling that Kilkenny will do a number on Galway on Sunday and if they do, we fully expect the Tullaroan man to be to the fore. He may not get the nod for Man of the Match, but if the Cats come out on top, we expect him to be in the shake up.

Fabio Borini to score first goal against Norwich, 13/2

We know the Italian has yet to find the net in the league but we think he might just break his duck at against the Canaries. To say Liverpool have been a bit goal-shy is underselling it a bit but we think any side that conceded five to Fulham can’t be that solid.

Chris Hughton has tightened them up since that opening day mauling but we hold out a slim hope that Borini will get off the mark on Saturday.
