Now, if there’s one thing that we all know about professional wrestling it’s the fact that most of it is scripted. However, we have a feeling that punching a fan in the face wasn’t in the storyline this week.
Here’s footage of a pro wrestler (that’s the old WWF for anyone from the 80s-90s) called CM Punk who takes things a bit too far by punching a fan right in the face. That’s one way to make new fans.
We didn’t watch the live show so it’s kind of hard to tell what exactly went down, but from the videos here it’s clear that CM Punk got a bit slap happy. You can see that the bloke who gets punched by Mr Punk was getting a little frisky in the video below, so we’re assuming that he CM Punk just didn’t like being touched on by his adorning fans.
Now, in fairness to CM Punk you can clearly hear some fans shouting “You Suck”, so that probably riled him up a bit more. Even still, he’s probably going to have a lawsuit on his hands.
Looks like wrestling is finally getting a little bit real.
