Have a gander at the Golf Plus’ new successor called the Golf SV.

Volkswagen Ireland has just announced that its Golf Plus successor is to be called the Golf SV. It’s like the normal Golf, but with even more room for activities…

The new SV model, which will be shown in production form at the Geneva Motor Show next month, will feature a more generous interior than the Golf Plus it replaces, and now boasts a more flexible interior, with rear bench seats that offer 180mm longitudinal adjustment and a cargo capacity of over 1,500 litres.

The Golf SV will feature a similar engine line-up to the standard Golf range, with the bulk of sales expected to come from the 1.6-litre 110bhp diesel engine, which will be EU6 compliant. It also looks a lot better than the Golf Plus… just sayin’.

Prices and additional specification information will be released in the coming weeks…
