Hey, get off the couch this weekend and get down to the RDS.
Fitness is big business in Ireland these days and the sheer number of options out there for those who would either like to get started or do more is a tad bewildering.
So The Sports and Fitness Show, now in its third year, is here to end your bewilderment. They bring together the best products, education, nutrition and wellbeing each year, under one roof, at the RDS in Ballsbridge, Dublin.
For anyone looking to improve their health and fitness in 2014 (which should be everyone) it is the place to find out what is just right for you.
A number of exhibitors will be on hand to help you discover innovative training techniques; new fitness crazes and offer exceptional nutritional advice. There will also be opportunities to get to grips with sports equipment, apparel and accessories and trial cutting edge fitness products and equipment.
Irelands first Dublin RX challenge will be held on the Saturday to find the fittest folk in Ireland. Male and Female competitors are welcome so check out CrossFit Navitas for registration.
On top of that, the event will also play host to arm wrestling matches with Ireland’s best one-armed grapplers and, if you are feeling inspired, you can sign up to East of Ireland Sports & Fitness Show Marathon in association with Science in Sport Ireland on Saturday and run it on Sunday. We don’t recommend that for novices though!
Keep an eye on their Facebook, Twitter and website for Expo highlights and news. Plus, by liking their Facebook page you’re automatically on the free ticket list for the show. Can’t say fairer than that now, can you?
