Ulster Rugby have this morning posted a virtual video of what the new redeveloped Ravenhill will look like when it’s finished. Wanna see what it looks like? Come this way.
Ulster were given planning permission and financial backing to go ahead with redevelopment plans for their Belfast base earlier in the season, with a reported €17.5 million in government funding helping the province to increase the capacity from 11,700 to approximately 18,200.
The refurbishments aren’t expected to be completed until sometime in 2015 and will be carried out on a phased basis, but if the end result is anything like the evidence of the fly through video posted by the province this morning, it certainly won’t disappoint.
And who knows, maybe it will eventually host a Rugby World Cup game if the tournament does come to Ireland in the future.
