Blink and you’ll miss it, but Johny Hendricks’ blow to knock out Martin Kampmann at UFC 154 last night was nothing short of spectacular.
Kampmann and Hendricks used to train together in Las Vegas, but the bearded Hendricks showed little sympathy towards his former sparring partner with a devastating knockout within 46 seconds of their bout in Montreal last night.
Hendricks moved in for the kill shortly after felling Kampann but there was no need as his vicious right-left combination, the latter of which did most of the damage, left Kampmann out for the count and seeing stars for a good while afterwards.
