The Dublin players are going to be black and blue all over at some stage this season…
It’s a bit late in the season when it comes to GAA jersey launches; normally these things are done ahead of the National League in order to create a bit of a buzz ahead of the new season.
Perhaps safe in the knowledge that they’ll sell more jerseys than any other county, the Dubs have waited a while before launching their away jersey for the new season, but they did post a sneak preview of what it will look like on the Dublin GAA Twitter account last night.

In truth, it’s not often you see the Dubs having to wear an away kit but we’re sure we’ll see this number at some stage over the coming months. For those who didn’t know any better they might think that there are 15 Stephen Cluxtons playing outfield such is its resemblance to the current ‘keeper’s jersey (albeit far darker), but it’s a simple and attractive enough design and will no doubt prove very popular on the Hill over the summer.
So what’s the verdict Dublin fans, yay or nay?
