If you’re buying a second-hand car it’s always best to check to see if it’s had a colourful past. But who do you call when you need to find out that info? There’s only one website for the job… Cartell.ie.
Cartell.ie is an independent car history service provider, set up in 2006, that instantly provides you with a thorough record of a vehicle’s past. Short of telling you what the car’s owner had for breakfast, Cartell.ie will let you know whether the car has been written off, whether it has finance outstanding, or, thanks to the near-8 million readings on their National Mileage Register, whether your vehicle has been clocked.
They were the first company to bring vehicle history checking to the Republic of Ireland and JOE.ie is delighted to team up with them to bring you some motoring news and insights over the coming weeks and months. Cartell.ie are currently the proud title sponsor of the Cartell.ie International Rally of the Lakes.
Cartell.ie offers several different levels of service depending on your requirements. You can choose from a comprehensive Two-Star report which will give the car’s history: number of previous owners, whether it changed hands recently, was it a Company car earlier in its life, was it a Taxi or Hackney, was it the subject of a write-off claim by an insurer, are there higher mileage readings for the vehicle – as well as plenty of other useful stuff like technical vehicle information.
Alternatively, you can opt for a more detailed Three Star Report which tells you whether the vehicle is still the subject of a financial agreement – remember, Cartell.ie are the only company in the Republic of Ireland that ring banks individually, on behalf of customers, when a finance match is found so that you get the most up-to-date information possible – or whether your vehicle has UK History. If it has, then you will get that information too, courtesy of HPI UK, who provide UK vehicle data exclusively to Cartell.ie for their Republic of Ireland customers.
Here’s what the lads themselves have to say: “We’re proud of assisting customers: to date we’ve helped thousands of people safely navigate the tricky used car market. Please don’t hesitate to ring our trained staff with any queries about our service, or about your next used car purchase.”
If you’re thinking of buying a used car in the not too distant future then head on over to Cartell.ie for more information.
