According to police in the US, the Canadian teen-pop sensation and royal pain in the arse, Justin Bieber, was lucky to escape a plot that could have seen his balls being ripped off… Seriously.
It’s probably no surprise, but we’re not the biggest fans of Justin Bieber here in the office. In fact, when his sh*tty songs come on the radio we instantly switch over to whatever else is on, regardless of what’s playing. However, for the first time ever we actually felt a little bit bad for pint-sized performer.
Police in the US say they uncovered a plot to kidnap, castrate and murder the singer, which was scheduled to happen this past November. According to reports, Mark Staake and his nephew Tanner Ruane were hired by a man who’s currently serving time in prison (978 years to be exact – and that’s not a typo).
The mastermind behind the plan, Dana Martin, a convicted rapist, actually has a tattoo of Bieber on his leg and is apparently ‘obsessed’ with the singer. He allegedly ordered Staake and his nephew to carry out “the murder and castration of Bieber and his bodyguard” during the New York leg of their tour.
Police finally uncovered the plot after intercepting phone calls between the three men in question and they arrested Staake and Tanner after Martin grassed them out.
Sometimes fact really is stranger than fiction…
