There are some people who think that a beef wrap can’t be healthy. Oh how wrong you are. And nothing gives us more pleasure than showing you how to rustle up this delicious meal. Well besides eating it of course.
This aromatic beef wrap is filled with delicious roast beef and crunchy vegetables, then topped off with a fantastic sauce for dipping or drizzling.
Asian beef and lettuce wrap

The Basics:
Serves 1 – 10 minutes in total

What you need:
- 4 fresh basil leaves
- 1 Romaine lettuce leaf
- 35g (1 ¼ oz) cooked roast beef, sliced into long strips
- ½ red pepper, de-seeded, halved and cut into long strips
- 5cm (2inches) cucumber, de-seeded and cut into long strips
- 1 spring onion, cut into long strips
- 42g soft tortilla wrap
- 1 tablespoon sweet chilli sauce or plum sauce
- Juice of ½ a lime
- 1 teaspoon light soy sauce
What to do:
- Mix together the ingredients for the dipping sauce in a small bowl.
- Put the basil leaves on top of the lettuce leaf and top with strips of beef, red pepper, cucumber and spring onion. Roll up in the tortilla wrap and drizzle over the sauce or dip the tortilla into the sauce before eating.
Serving suggestion:
You can also make this recipe with 60g(2 oz) cooked peeled prawns instead of beef, for the same ProPoints values.
If you’re taking this to work, put the vegetables and beef in a lidded container. Mix together the ingredients for the dipping sauce in a small lidded pot and wrap the tortilla in cling film. Assemble as described in the method above when ready to serve.
