It has taken until now, but finally the definitive collection of MMA KOs from 2012 has appeared. It’s spectacular.
With so much MMA action now taking place all around the world, we’re not surprised it has taken a while for someone to sift through it all and produce the definitive compilation of the best KOs we saw in the octagon in 2012.
TheBestMMAHouse are the folks that put this together and they deserve all the credit for this very fine piece of work. Posted today on Cage Potato, it is a non-stop stream of brutal finishes.
There are many, many great ones to choose from here. There is the crazy assault that Lavar Johnson puts on Pat Barry (skip to 3.27) or the quite scary finish Mike ‘Quick’ Swick inflicts on DaMarques Johnson (skip to 0.55).
Then there is Cung Le sending Rich Franklin to sleep (8.25) in some style while Anderson Silva’s destruction of Stephan Bonner from UFC 153 is pretty cool too.
The final one, and probably the KO of the year, is Edson Barboza’s spinning kick KO of Terry Etim (14.33 in the video). Even in this epic catalogue of wicked KOs, it really stands out.
