Keri Russell stars in the latest terrifying sci-fi horror movie Dark Skies, where aliens want to take her family.

The Barrets are a normal, happy-enough family living in a suburban housing estate, having picnics and getting on with things. Unfortunately, their lives takes on a paranormal activity vibe when they find things in their home rearranged and their youngest son has strange marks on his body.
Things take turn for the worse when the cast of Hitchcock’s Birds come for a visit and crash land against the house. If you didn’t have a fear of birds before, you will now. Then the parents start acting weird, discovering marks on their own bodies and going all zombie-like.
Mammy Barret calls in the expert, because this has happened before according to the Internet. He tells them its an alien invasion and they will take her children, but not before f*cking with them all first. Crazy mind-game playing aliens. Can’t they just suck off the roof and abduct them?
Silly story line aside, this movie looks to be suitably creepy and possibly scarier than Paranormal Activity – why are unseen evils so much worse? The makers behind Dark Skies also did Sinister and Insidious, so spooky sci-fi and thrillers are their thing apparently. Also starring Josh Hamilton, Dakota Goyo and J.K Simmons. Directed by Scott Charles Stewart.
Due for release on April 5.
