The highly anticipated new Coen brothers’ movie trailer is here, Inside Llewyn Davis.

Inside Llewyn Davis tells the story of a folk musician trying to get a break in New York’s Greenwich Village music scene in the 1960s. Oscar Isaac (Drive, Body of Lies) plays the main character, Llewyn while Carey Mulligan (Shame) plays Jean, an angry old flame of Llewyn.
John Goodman (Flight), Garrett Hedlund (Tron) and Justin Timberlake (Bad Teacher) are also part of the cast. The movie is adapted from a book by Dave Van Ronk called ‘The Mayor of MacDougal Street’, a first hand account of the music scene in the 50s and 60s.
The Coen brother’s last movie together was the 2010’s True Grit, starring Jeff Bridges. They also cast Bridges in one of their most famous movies The Big Lebowski. The Coen brothers are known for their off beat comedic style so we expect Inside Llewyn Davis to be of a similar essence. Other movies by the Coen brothers include Fargo, No Country for Old Men and Burn After Reading.
Inside Llewyn Davis will premiere in the US on February 8, with an Irish release to follow. Watch the trailer to see what its all about.
