Some incredible play from Novak Djokovic as he defeats Andy Murray to claim the Australian Open title once again.

Andy Murray, who will now be called Scottish again instead of British seeing as he didn’t actually win, won the first set, but the momentum swung firmly towards Djokovic after that, in particular in the third set, as the Serb won 6-7, 7-6, 6-3, 6-2.
Djokovic completely controlled the last two sets, and dominated Andy Murray, who was suffering with blisters and a tight hamstring as the match wore on. He was also distracted by a feather in a really bizarre incident as he was about to serve in a tie breaker.
No stranger to long epic matches, Novak was able to get some incredible returns even as the match went into the fourth set, wearing down Andy Murray’s confidence.
In particular, this moment early on might have made the Scot worry that it wasn’t going to be his day, as Djokovic fell over but still managed to recover and win the point.
So no second Grand Slam title for Murray, and he’ll have to head back to training to see how he can possibly get one up on the Serb for Wimbledon later this year, who looks to be in incredible form once again this season as he picks up his third Asutralian Open.
