Denzel Washington takes on the role of Captain Whip Whitaker, an alcoholic, drug-abusing pilot in Flight. Whitaker’s addictions are uncovered after he saves a plane full of passengers in a near impossible maneuvered crash landing. John Goodman plays his drug dealer while Don Cheadle is his lawyer, appointed to help him fight the case against him.
Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future, Forest Gump and Castaway) directs Flight, due for release this Friday, February 1.
