JOE has decided to get some of our best known rugby players into the driving set in our ‘Front Seat Confessionals’ series. First up is Leinster and Ireland flanker Shane Jennings.
Volkswagen are official Car Partner to Leinster Rugby, and as part of that, some of the players get to drive a Volkswagen as one of their Brand Ambassadors.
For the first “Front Seat Confessional” we scabbed a lift off Leinster and Ireland Flanker Shane Jennings, as he picked up his 2013 Volkswagen Passat CC, to talk beginnings, winning, leaving and coming back to Leinster Rugby.
Jennings has been there, done that and has the t-shirt to prove it. A stellar career in England and back in his native Province, he has a glittering collection of silverware to show.
JOE caught up with the flanker to get his thoughts on the car, how Leinster have achieved their success, THAT memorable win over Northampton, life in the Irish camp and what lies in store when he eventually hangs up his boots .
