First North Korea, now the Vatican, it seems that no man is doing more in the world of global affairs than Dennis Rodman at the moment. He could have scrubbed up a little better, mind.
Rodman was in the Vatican as part of a promotional stunt by Paddy Power to get behind Cardinal Turkson, who is bidding to become the first black Pope, with Paddy offering money back for customers if a black pope is elected (at the time of writing, we’ve just seen the white smoke so we should know by now whether Turkson was successful or not).
Obviously Paddy asked him to wear the hat, but we’ve no idea if they requested that he wear the very colourful and very loud floral-patterned black jacket in which he was seen parading around the Pope’s pad.
Rodman’s had trouble with the law before, but we’d be surprised if the fashion police don’t pick him up before the day is out.
Hideous.
