We hate to have to suggest it in what might be his last ever game for Ireland, but should Brian O’Driscoll have seen red instead of yellow for this stamp on Simone Favaro?
O’Driscoll was given what for him is an extremely rare yellow card after he was seen to stamp on Favaro over on the touchline in the first half, but replays suggested that the Irish centre might well have been given his marching orders instead.

It was totally out of character for the great man and he looked remorseful while sat in the sin-bin afterwards, but it might not be the last he hears about the incident once the citing commissioner has a look.
