After a Six Nations that has left a lot of Irish rugby fans filled with gloom, Brian O’Driscoll was talking about what a huge honour it was to pull on the shirt, and how difficult it is to lose in it

“Humbling” and “a huge honour” are just two of the ways Brian O’Driscoll described a gala dinner held for his testimonial in London last night.

Given that he’s still playing, he also found it a bit strange, but he was happy to chat to Newstalk’s Dave McIntyre about his life at the moment, and he seems like a fairly busy man.

With a wife, a new baby daughter and the Six Nations just over, we reckon he could probably use a few days off, but he’s as chipper as ever in this interview.

He also discusses his future in the game, stating that he’ll play until the end of the summer no matter what, but we might be left waiting for more info on that for a while yet.

Hat-tip to the lads at Newstalk for the video
