In it, Pitt plays Gerry, a U.N. employee who, after a zombie infection starts sweeping the world must race against time to help stop the outbreak.
The movie is based on a novel of the same name by Max Brooks. Interestingly, Brad Pitt’s production company ‘Plan B Productions’ was in a bidding war over the rights to the screenplay with Leonardo DiCaprio’s company Appian Way in 2007. Sounds like a movie in itself.
World War Z is set to be released on June 21 this year.
