With the men set to be separated from the boys in the Champions League next week, the footy experts in the JOE office sat down to discuss how the quarter-finals are going to go down.
There mightn’t be any English teams left in the competition but there’s still a helluva lot to get excited about in the Champions League quarter-finals next week, whether it’s Zlatan’s Barcelona reunion or the clash between traditional European heavyweights Bayern Munich and Juventus in possibly the tie of the round.
Elsewhere, the presence of former Mourinho favourites Didier Drogba and Wesley Sneijder adds an extra layer of intrigue to Barcelona and Real Madrid, while football hipsters will unite in their retro kits to watch Malaga take on Borussia Dortmund in the last of the four quarter-finals.
In the first of a series of Champions League podcasts brought to you by Heineken, JOE editor Mike Sheridan sat down with sports editor Sean Nolan, Conor Heneghan and Adrian Collins to preview what should be some cracking contests, with some idle chat about 90s football nostalgia and Antonio Banderas thrown in for good measure.
Enjoy!
