The Munster legend was joined by Keith Earls and Conor Murray as Adidas put the boys to work in a retail environment, and they tried their best to warm to the task, though the scrum-half felt aggrieved that he was on the clock until 6pm!

This week the lads, minus the injured Earls, are busy preparing for their Heineken Cup quarter-final game against Conor O’Shea’s Harlequins, but this video shows the lads in some funny out-takes from their day in very different roles from what they are used to.

O’Connell seems a bit of a natural in the role and demonstrates his leadership skills in keeping Earls and Murray on their toes.

He will have a much bigger job on his hands on Saturday at the Stoop, but we enjoyed it nonetheless, especially when the Irish international shows a ruthless streak to the noisy young child in the shop!
