We know all about how good Julian Savea can be after what he did to Ireland during the summer and he was illustrating his skills again for the Hurricanes at the weekend.
Savea scored a hat-trick of tries in the first test of Ireland’s ill-fated tour of New Zealand last summer and with his pace, his strength and his finishing ability, the All-Black wing is up there along with the best and certainly the most exciting players plying their trade in the Super XV right now.
Savea was on top form during the Hurricanes’ victory over the NSW Waratahs at the weekend with a brace of tries, demonstrating searing pace to escape the Waratahs defence for his first and somehow managing to pick up an awkward dropping ball while beating three defenders at the same time for his second try in the second half (see both tries below).

While the tries once again served notice of Savea’s ability, it also helped take attention away from his quite ridiculous dance moves that were caught on camera before the game.
Stick to the rugby there Julian.
