Manchester City host Tottenham Hotspur in the early game on Saturday and we reckon this is as good a chance as any to make a few bob. Spurs were absolutely annihilated by City last season, losing both games by five-goal margins.
In fact, they’ve only beaten City once in their last eight games against them. This doesn’t bode well for the Londoners and we reckon it’s going to be another bad day at the office for Mauricio Pochettino’s men.
That being said, City haven’t exactly been brilliant at the back lately. They’ve only kept one clean sheet in their last four league games and we reckon they’ll give away at least one goal this weekend.
Our prediction is a 3-1 victory for Manchester City with Frank Lampard getting the opener. The former England international has been in a rich vein of form lately and we think he’ll continue this against Spurs on Saturday.
