Love can be a slippery subject but for Californian Genoveva Nunez-Figueroa – who tried to break into her ex-boyfriend’s house by climbing down his chimney – this proved to literally be the case.
She needed a helping hand from the Ventura County firefighters, who had to lather her up with soap in order to release the Santa Claus inspired burglar.
If that wasn’t embarrassing enough then you should know that Nunez-Figueroa was discovered dangling 8-feet down the chimney, with her face covered in soot. She was later arrested on burglary charges after a trip to hospital.
This was the second time that she made an unwanted visit to her ex-boyfriend’s home after he ended their brief relationship.
It’s fair to say that any chances she had of rekindling that relationship may have just gone up in smoke.
