We’ve had to resign ourselves to the fact that the domestic football season will all be over for another few months after this Sunday’s FAI Cup final meeting between St Patricks’s Athletic and Derry City.

Some of the people in JOE Towers are now going to have to find something else to do with their Friday nights – we hear this socialising thing is decent – but until then, much like the Dundalk players with the league title, we’re tightly clinging to the last few moments.
