A team of JOEs play astroturf every week and while our lack of skill and general coordination gets exposed on a regular basis, we still love getting out for a kick around.
There are astroturf leagues going on all over the country but this season’s astrobay 7-a-side league in Renmore in Galway produced something sensational.
Earlier in the campaign Arsene About took on Mad Boys and AA’s Alan Madden harnessed his inner David Beckham by scoring this wonderful free kick.
