The Argentine says the injury he suffered against Portugal was not serious.

Angel di Maria hopes to be fit to face Arsenal on Saturday despite being clattered by Nani on Tuesday night.

The former Real Madrid attacker told Argentinean newspaper Ole that it was just a knock and he’s not going to join the growing list of United’s walking wounded.

“I’m fine, it was just a knock. I hope there will not be too much swelling and will play on the weekend,” he said. “There was a cut, the doctor did not want me to carry on but I said I would play a few minutes and then leave.”

While Daley Blind expected to miss the next six weeks with a knee injury, United do hope to have Radamel Falcao fit to face the Gunners, while David de Gea has an 80% chance of playing.
