A second chance for romance…
Hold your hands up and admit if you have ever saved the names of ‘that guy/girl’ who you met at a bar into your phones in the following ways.
‘Random girl/guy at the bar’ or ‘blonde girl/tall man from the bar’.
Yep, we’ve done it also.
A new app called Whatifi, developed by Ken Fitzgerald, plans on removing the embarrassment from that ‘probing'( i.e. no clue what their actual name is) follow up text message because it allows you to check if any other app users were in the pubs and clubs that you visit over the course of a night.
Basically this means that if you’re of the drinking forgetful nature, the app will let you know the next day who you may have been talking to in the bar by providing you with a timeline of the night before.
A timeline of JOE’s night. You’ve all seen The Hangover right?
The app might also be helpful if you run into Jennifer Lawrence/ Ryan Gosling during the course of your night and completely charm the pants off of them before they leave without giving you their number.
Whatifi will also give users full control over their privacy settings, so your information isn’t shared unless you want it to be. After all, we don’t want Jennifer Lawrence getting our number that easily.
While we’re not marketing geniuses, JOE suggests that the designers use this tagline, “Whatifi. When phones, emails or a pen and paper just won’t cut it . Whatifi, reconnecting you with that 3am shift since 2015”.
